Gyms that fail to change their routes on a regular basis may find that attendance falls off and regulars show up less and less.

Consider a “guest” route setter to spice things up a bit.

Contact a nearby gym (maybe even a competitor) and invite one of their regular route setters to your gym.

Having a new set of eyes view your wall may open up your thinking to new possibilities to improve a climbers experience without spending much money or making complicated improvements.

You may be able to work out an exchange program with one of your best route setters so that there is no cost.

Just give the guest route setter a little route setting tape, provide some support personnel and see what they come up with.
